Where do you take photos?

I no longer do studio shoots - I currently only take photographs on location; most of my images are taken outdoors and at the clients homes, or scenic areas in and around the Cleveland Texas area (including Humble, Conroe, and Dayton).

How much does it cost?

Prices varies by project; I occasionally do a shoot for free if it is a style that I currently do not have in my portfolio, or in trade-for-prints. More information can be found on my modeling page.

What type of photos do you prefer - what type of pictures do you take?

I take pictures of things I am fascinated with, or things I think are beautiful. I often take pictures of small animals because we rarely see them up close. A frog jumping in the road becomes a beautiful and wondrous creature when viewed closely. I also do a lot of portraits of both adults and children; I find faces fascinating when viewed in an image. It’s almost as if you can see their soul in their eyes; you can wonder what they are like, their habits, and their personalities. Each life is different, and each person is unique in their own way. Portraits & fantasy photographs of children are among my favorite subjects. With children their expressions are genuine, their motives pure, and their photos radiate innocence, attitude, joy, and sadness like no other subject. I prefer photographing children from the age of 11-16; this age group is easy to photograph and can provide a wide variety of subject matter. Age 11 is better at portraying childhood innocence, while age 16 can provide more attitude, while still conveying sincerity. These age groups can also provide most of the subject matter that a publisher/advertiser may have need of.

Are you available to photograph events such as weddings, birthdays, etc?

No & Yes - I am not an event photographer, but I will occasionally attend an event if invited. For example; if you are having a wedding you should hire a wedding photographer; you can invite me if you like, and I will take pictures. If I feel that any of the images are better than average I will give you the option to buy the finished prints. I will not charge for attending, but I give no guarantees about the images. I usually only do artistic photography (mostly in a studio under controlled lighting); but love the opportunity to take photos at such events.
